What we're building
ABILENE, TEXAS
We're building a church where strangers become neighbors and neighbors become family.
Jesus taught that loving God and loving our neighbor are at the very center of what it means to follow Him.
That's why we're building more than a Sunday gathering, we're building a community of people learning to live like Jesus everyday.
We believe following Jesus means becoming the kind of neighbor the world needs. The kind who see people. move towards people and loves people the way Jesus has loved us. Here, faith is more than something we believe. It's something we live. Around dinner tables, in neighborhoods, at work, at school and throughout our city.
Because following Jesus isn't just about finding your people. Its about becoming His people.

We believe He is the hope of the world and the center of our faith. Through His life, death and resurrection, we are forgiven, restored and invited into a new way of living.
At neighbor, we're learning to follow Jesus together, growing in faith, loving our neighbors and becoming more like Him along the way.

Victor & Valerie Lopez
For more than 15 years, we've had the privilege of serving the local church and helping people follow Jesus.
Neighbor was born from a desire to build the kind of church we want our own literal neighbors to experience, a place full of grace, truth, friendship and purpose. Our greatest joy is our family, Zoe, Oliver and Nova.
